Far-Left Governor Signs Euthanasia Bill: A Direct Rejection of God’s Sacred Gift
Delaware has taken a dark and dangerous turn. With the stroke of a pen, Democratic Gov. Matt Meyer signed House Bill 140 into law, opening the door for state-approved euthanasia under the guise of “compassion.”

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the bill, misleadingly titled “The Ron Silverio/Heather Block End of Life Options Law,” gives terminally ill adults the legal option to request and ingest lethal drugs — without medical oversight.

The law requires two verbal requests and one written request from the patient. “A legal guardian or healthcare surrogate is not permitted to make the request on their behalf.” The final act — taking the death-inducing medication — must be carried out alone.
Christians have been warning for years that this was coming to America, but too few have paid attention. While countries like China and Canada promote assisted suicide, America is now following their lead down the same anti-God, anti-life path.
We are trading the sanctity of life for a culture of death.
This is the fruit of a society that celebrates abortion and suicide — a society that has openly rejected its Creator and the value He places on life.
Governor Meyer called the law a victory for “compassion, dignity and respect for individual choice.” He posted on X, “This marks a historic and compassionate step forward.” But what kind of compassion leaves someone to die alone, without even a doctor present? What kind of dignity is found in encouraging death over life?
This is not progress. It’s a warning. A society that throws away the life God gave us will become a society that values no life at all.

Delaware is now the 12th U.S. jurisdiction to legalize medical aid in dying, with the law taking effect on Jan. 1, 2026.
Unless regulations are finalized sooner, the countdown to state-sanctioned death has officially begun.
